1.    Log in to your ABSA bank app.


2.    Navigate to the menu

    Click on the Menu option.


3.    Select Debit Orders

    From the menu options, select Debit Orders.


4.    Choose DebiCheck: 

    Select the DebiCheck option.


5.    Approve the Debit Order

    Select Approve.


6.    Review the Details

    Check the debit order details carefully.

    If all the information is correct, select Approve.


7.    Confirmation

    A screen confirming the successful DebiCheck debit order authorisation will be displayed.


Troubleshooting Tips

    Unable to log in to the Absa app

Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Verify that your app is updated to the latest version.

If you’ve forgotten your login details, use the "Forgot Password" or "Reset PIN" option on the login screen.


    Mandate Not Listed via the banking app:

Is the correct version of the app installed/does the app need to be updated?

Ensure the account supports DebiCheck functionality.

Contact Absa customer support if the options are still unavailable.


    Unable to Approve the Mandate:

Ensure the customer follows the steps correctly. If the issue continues, guide them to ABSA’s website or call center for further support.

Ensure that the account has sufficient funds if required for approval.
