When using the Scan to Pay feature, your browser may block camera access. Follow the steps below to allow camera permissions on the different mobile browsers.
Google Chrome (Mobile Phone)
- Open Google Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner (Android) or bottom-right (iOS).
- Select Settings > Site settings.
- Tap Camera.
- Ensure Camera access is allowed.
- If you see your banking website under Blocked, tap it and select Allow.
Safari (iPhone & iPad)
- Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Tap Camera.
- Select Allow or Ask to enable camera access.
- Restart Safari and try using Scan to Pay again.
Samsung Internet Browser
- Open Samsung Internet.
- Tap the three-line menu in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Settings > Sites and downloads.
- Tap Site permissions > Camera.
- Ensure Allow is selected.
- If your banking website is listed under Blocked, tap it and select Allow.
Microsoft Edge (Mobile Phone)
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the bottom.
- Go to Settings > Privacy and Security.
- Select Site Permissions > Camera.
- Switch to Ask first or Allow.
- If your banking website is blocked, remove it and try again.
Mozilla Firefox (Mobile phone)
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Permissions.
- Select Camera.
- Switch to Allow.
- Restart the browser and retry Scan to Pay.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Refresh the page after enabling permissions.
- Restart your browser if changes do not apply immediately.
- If you are using private browsing/incognito mode, switch to a normal tab and try again.
- Ensure your phone’s operating system and browser are up to date.
- If issues persist, check your phone's overall camera permissions under Settings > Apps > Browser > Permissions.
