When using the Scan to Pay feature, your browser may block camera access. Follow the steps below to allow camera permissions on the different mobile browsers. 

Google Chrome (Mobile Phone) 

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner (Android) or bottom-right (iOS). 
  3. Select Settings > Site settings.
  4. Tap Camera
  5. Ensure Camera access is allowed.
  6. If you see your banking website under Blocked, tap it and select Allow

Safari (iPhone & iPad) 

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad. 
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari
  3. Tap Camera
  4. Select Allow or Ask to enable camera access. 
  5. Restart Safari and try using Scan to Pay again. 

Samsung Internet Browser 

  1. Open Samsung Internet.
  2. Tap the three-line menu in the bottom-right corner. 
  3. Select Settings > Sites and downloads.
  4. Tap Site permissions > Camera.
  5. Ensure Allow is selected. 
  6. If your banking website is listed under Blocked, tap it and select Allow.

Microsoft Edge (Mobile Phone) 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu at the bottom. 
  3. Go to Settings > Privacy and Security.
  4. Select Site Permissions > Camera. 
  5. Switch to Ask first or Allow
  6. If your banking website is blocked, remove it and try again.

Mozilla Firefox (Mobile phone) 

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner. 
  3. Go to Settings > Permissions.
  4. Select Camera
  5. Switch to Allow
  6. Restart the browser and retry Scan to Pay.

Troubleshooting Tips 

  • Refresh the page after enabling permissions. 
  • Restart your browser if changes do not apply immediately.
  • If you are using private browsing/incognito mode, switch to a normal tab and try again. 
  • Ensure your phone’s operating system and browser are up to date.
  • If issues persist, check your phone's overall camera permissions under Settings > Apps > Browser > Permissions.
