Navigate to the DebiCheck Menu

  • Once you see the menu, enter 9 to select DebiCheck.
  • Check to see the list of available DebiCheck debit orders on your screen.

Select the Relevant Mandate

  • Locate the specific mandate (e.g., FinChoice debit order) from the list.
  • Highlight or select the mandate and then click Reply to proceed.

Approve the Mandate

  • Enter 1 to Approve the mandate.
  • Carefully review the mandate details (such as amount, frequency, and service provider) before approving.

Confirmation Message

  • Once the debit order is approved, the system will send a confirmation message.
  • Keep this message for their records.

Cannot Access the USSD Menu:

  • Do you have the correct USSD code (*120*2277#) and enough airtime. If the issue persists, restart your device or try again later.

Mandate Not Listed:

  • If you cannot find their mandate (e.g., FinChoice), check if your service provider has sent the request. If needed, contact the service provider or ABSA for assistance.
